Project engineer intern

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to help us support Urbio's growing user-base (energy providers and energy consulting firms) in their urban energy activities such as...

• design of district heating networks
• implementation of municipal energy planning
• assessment of energy communities potential
• decarbonisation of real estate assets

Responsibilities

You will have hands-on experience with the Urbio app, actively participating in demos, tailored trainings and applying it to real-world use cases. You will also contribute to the development of documentation related to Urbio's product, AI technology and applications.

Finally, your engineering expertise and strong communication skills will allow you to collaborate closely with both the operation and commercial teams (online support, energy data setup, implementation of technical reporting, ...).

As an intern, you will be followed up and supported by our experimented operation team.

Qualifications

For this position you need to...

• study engineering (Bachelor or Master student)
• have knowledge about energy and buildings
• have some basic experience in GIS tools
• speak English, German or French is a plus

In your daily work, you are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone and like working both independently and in a team.

Location & time

• We are a remote-first company with a team spread across Switzerland, so you should be in a similar time zone. Depending on your location, there is the possibility for in-person meetings in our Sion office or co-working spaces in Zürich & Lausanne.
• We are looking for someone to onboard in late summer/early autumn 2024 and able to dedicate at least 60% of their time for a period of 3 to 6 months.
