As part of our International Accounting and Controllership team this position reports to one of our Country Controllers, Accounting Managers, and will take ownership or part ownership of one or more entities within EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the timely and accurate review and posting of month end close and accounting transactions; P&L and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation and resolution.

• Responsible for ensuring that financial records are in compliance with US and Local GAAP.

• Support SOX Compliance, and internal/external audits within GBS working closely with advisors and auditors

• Responsible for the timely preparation of local statutory accounts, direct/corporate tax returns and tax provision calculations.

• Achieve targets for high performance that meet or exceed Service Level Agreements

• Complete monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis and reporting for Corporate HQ for the entities under your responsibility.

• Ensure the ongoing implementation & integrity of all accounting transactions, including complex transactions, per agreed processes, procedures, and controls

• Actively participate in a continuous improvement culture through analysing accounting processes and procedures for greater efficiency and work with the team to generate and implement solutions

• Build relationships with and key support contacts in EMEA and within the wider GBS team

• Meet individual objectives and contribute to the achievement of the team’s overall objectives

• Ad-hoc project work as required.

• Available for limited travel when necessary
