IT Associate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a self-driven, experienced IT Associate based out of our office, Indiranagar,

Bengaluru, India, to lead and support Urbint’s India operations while acting as a key contributor

to our global IT strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a Mac-heavy environment, is proficient

with modern ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira, and can work autonomously to streamline and

strengthen IT infrastructure and processes across regions.

What You'll Do:

  • Strong experience with both MacOS and Windows environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage macOS devices using tools like JAMF Pro, Apple Business Manager, and MDM solutions.
  • Implement security policies, encryption (FileVault), and compliance standards for macOS.
  • Manage macOS updates, patches, and application deployments.
  • Support Windows endpoints and servers, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Support macOS and Windows hybrid environments and ensure they work together seamlessly.
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS issues and provide end-user support.
  • Configure and maintain network settings for macOS and Windows devices.
  • Should have extensive experience of resolving hardware and software problems on both MacOS and Dell systems.
  • Administer and manage MS Office 365, Google Workspace, and other enterprise tools.
  • Manage, maintain and support our inventory of Mac devices; manage Apple fleet using JAMF Pro.
  • Manage Okta, our identity and access platform, for seamless and secure user authentication and lifecycle management.
  • Respond to IT support tickets through Service Now, Jira and ensuring timely resolutions within defined SLA.
  • Manage local infrastructure; handle daily IT operations involving Zscaler, VPNs, optimizing its use and improving security coverage.
  • Implement and uphold IT security best practices, especially regarding onboarding/offboarding and endpoint protection.
  • Own and streamline the end-to-end process for new hires and exiting employees in collaboration with HR and operations.
  • Strong Understanding of ITIL best practices.
  • Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including system setup for new hires.
    IT exit formalities and asset recovery during employee exits.
  • Oversee inventory, tracking, and maintenance of IT assets.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in a startup or tech-focused environment.
  • Proven experience managing Apple ecosystems and JAMF Pro.
  • Working knowledge of Zero Trust Systems (such as Zscaler), including day-to-day use and security optimization.
  • Proficient with MS Office 365, Google Workspace, Okta, Jira, and other modern IT tools.
  • Strong understanding of identity management, device lifecycle management, and IT compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
