About Shellworks
Developed for a throwaway culture, plastics have caused significant pollution to our natural environments with 90% of all plastics ever created never being recycled. More so, recent studies have identified that plastics impact goes beyond pollution to chemicals and micro-plastics that impact human and environmental health.
We believe there must be a better way and our first innovation Vivomer does just that, if nature made a plastic this would be it. Vivomer, a polymer made by microorganisms, behaves just like plastic in use, but degrades upon disposal in any natural environment. Developed through cutting-edge material science, mechanical engineering, design, and operations, Vivomer represents a groundbreaking step towards a pollution-free future.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Shellworks’ founders and early team to enable a world without plastic pollution. You'll gain hands-on experience in scaling and growing a startup, tackling a variety of challenges, and cultivating a mindset focused on achieving impactful goals. The role spans across business development and customer success. Expect to work with a positive, passionate, ambitious, incredibly inter-disciplinary team and have high levels of autonomy to create meaningful environmental impact.
Your Impact
Managing relationships with existing customers, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and high satisfaction
Identifying opportunities to expand customer value - pitching new products, securing follow on orders
Partnering with sales and marketing to grow customer accounts
Building processes to collect customer insights and testimonials
Helping automate routine follow ups to improve efficiency and experience
Must haves - we'd love to hear from you if:
2+ years in a B2B customer-facing role (e.g. AM, CSM, BDM)
Experience managing complex customer relationships end-to-end
Can point to moments you’ve grown accounts, secured renewals, or improved outcomes
Comfortable with ambiguity, and confident designing or improving processes
Motivated by impact, autonomy, and being part of a small team with big goals
Nice to haves - we'd love to hear from you even more if:
Experience with technical or product-led environments, particularly in sustainability
STEM background or strong comfort engaging with scientific/engineering content
Bonus: fluent in French or German (not required)
Expectations and goals:
Prioritise customer experience to deliver excellent outcomes.
Support our goal of tripling revenue this year (and again next year) - existing customers are core to this growth
Deliver and help design best-in-class customer relationship practices
