As a Field Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing and growth initiatives across university campuses. This role operates as a critical bridge between Growth and Operations, working in close partnership with the Head of Operations to co-develop scalable strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and orders growth.
This position requires strong stakeholder management, ensuring alignment with university partners, Sodexo units, clients, and internal teams. The Field Marketing Manager will also own the execution of Robot.com’s campus media and advertising business, delivering high-quality brand campaigns across physical and digital touchpoints.
Success in this role depends on the ability to translate strategic pillars into flawless execution on the ground, while maintaining strong relationships and clear communication across all stakeholders.

As a Field Marketing Manager, you have several responsibilities including but not limited to:
Strategic Leadership & Operational Partnership:
Partner directly with the Head of Operations to co-build and execute the campus growth strategy.
Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with operational capabilities, dining partnerships, and campus-specific constraints.
Translate strategic pillars into scalable, repeatable playbooks across campuses.
Drive adoption of key initiatives such as new restaurant launches, extended hours, and new payment methods (flex dollars, meal swipes, subscriptions).
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
Build and manage strong relationships with Sodexo units, university stakeholders, and external partners.
Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing and media execution across campuses.
Coordinate closely with clients and partners to ensure alignment on campaigns, approvals, and execution timelines.
Communicate clearly and effectively (native-level English required), translating strategy into actionable plans and updates.
Manage expectations and ensure high-quality delivery of all commitments, including SLAs for advertising campaigns.
Media & Advertising (Retail Media):
Build and execute the field marketing strategy for Robot.com’s campus media/advertising business.
Deliver advertiser campaigns across robot screens, activations, and digital platforms.
Partner with Sales and Growth teams to align inventory, timelines, and client expectations.
Track and optimize media performance (impressions, engagement, conversions).
Ensure high-quality execution and reporting for all advertising campaigns.
Coordinate closely with Zone Managers and field Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
Execution of Growth Strategy Pillars:
1. Expansion of Services & Partnerships
Support the launch and promotion of new restaurants and dining partnerships (e.g., national brands, resident dining).
Coordinate marketing efforts around operational changes such as extended hours and new service offerings.
2. Marketing & Engagement
Develop and execute campus-specific marketing plans (both always-on and campaign-based).
Oversee production and deployment of branded collateral (banners, table tents, on-campus placements).
Lead high-impact engagement initiatives such as activations, tabling, and experiential campaigns (e.g., robot activations, demos).
Coordinate content creation efforts, including social media and ambassador/influencer programs (e.g., KiwiStars).
Track and optimize engagement metrics such as impressions, interactions, and conversions.
3. Offers & Promotions
Plan and execute promotional strategies including free delivery campaigns, promo codes, and giveaways.
Coordinate with Sodexo, Grubhub, and internal stakeholders to align budgets, approvals, and execution.
Ensure promotions are effectively deployed and drive measurable impact on acquisition and retention.
4. Reporting & Accountability
Own campaign tracking and reporting across campuses (budget, performance, CAC, ROI).
Maintain dashboards and internal trackers to monitor growth and campaign effectiveness.
Deliver Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and client-facing reports with clear insights and recommendations.
Ensure consistent documentation of campaigns, learnings, and best practices.
This role might be the right one for you if you have:
4–7+ years of experience in field marketing, growth marketing, operations, or advertising.
Strong stakeholder management experience, particularly with external partners (e.g., clients, universities, or enterprise accounts).
Proven ability to collaborate closely with operations teams and co-build strategy.
Native or near-native English proficiency with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience executing multi-location or regional campaigns.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
Experience with promotions, partnerships, or retail media/advertising is a strong plus.
Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership and accountability.
B1/B2 valid US Visa.
