The Role
One Concern is hiring a Solutions Architect who is passionate about the company's mission and specializes in the financial services sector. As a Solutions Architect, you will leverage data insights from the One Concern platform to address client business challenges. Collaboration is essential in this role; you will work closely with the Go-To-Market (GTM), product, data science, and engineering teams to meet customer needs and contribute to the product development roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include bridging the gap between sales and product teams, influencing our product direction, and playing a vital role in utilizing data to deliver business value as our product offerings expand. The position will report to the VP of Data Science and Solutions.
What You'll Do
- Deeply understand customer needs and market trends to shape the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with GTM, data science, and engineering teams for customer-focused solutions.
- Bridge sales, tech, and product teams, translating customer feedback into product improvements.
- Educate clients on managing disruptions from climate risks and advocate new risk management methods.
- Analyze customer and market data to prioritize and define product features and functionalities.
- Conduct technical assessments to identify client requirements, challenges, and goals.
- Align clients with suitable applications of the One Concern Domino platform.
- Coordinate across product, engineering, and sales teams for effective solution delivery.
- Evaluate and adapt product strategies to improve user satisfaction and market standing.
- Create and deliver impactful presentations, understanding specific climate risk challenges in the financial sector.
Qualifications & Experience
- Financial industry experience in pre-sales or consulting, specifically in selling data products to financial institutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders for successful data solution delivery.
- Exceptional presentation skills, suitable for both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong ability to link customer-specific business challenges to unique product capabilities, demonstrating tangible business benefits.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, related field, or equivalent experience.
