Mark43 is expanding its UK sales team and looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Account Executive. The ideal candidate is passionate about implementing the next generation of police technologies and has a well-developed understanding and appreciation of the advantages of enterprise SaaS solutions. This is a new territory for Mark43 and presents a tremendous opportunity for police forces in the UK and for Mark43 alike.

As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving sales and revenue growth within the UK Community Safety sector. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and close successful business opportunities. You will engage with police forces, understand their unique needs, and deliver tailored solutions. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of complex sales processes.

What you can expect to work on:

  • Gain a deep understanding of Mark43’s value proposition, the UK's competitive landscape, and buyers’ needs and requirements to deliver an effective pitch of Mark43’s products.
  • Lead prospects through the full sales lifecycle and traveling throughout the UK as needed. This requires attention to detail, persistence in understanding specific procurement steps, and constantly pushing for progress.
  • Travel regularly to trade shows and industry events to prospect and network.
  • Identify and qualify potential prospects within the police and security domain.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals.
  • Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Understand prospect pain points and position our solutions effectively.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in police forces.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Work with our anchor customer, UK implementation team, and Mark43’s UK executive sponsor to develop the wide-open market and drive new, exciting opportunities.

What we expect from you:

  • Passion for supporting police, first responders, and other government agencies.
  • 8-10 years of experience in enterprise Public Sector SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives.
  • Familiarity with government tender processes, resellers, and go-to-market partners in the UK.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven history of exceeding quotas, closing deals, and moving up in your organization.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with large account management and complex sales best practices.
  • Understanding of police forces’ operations and challenges.
  • Ability to work independently.
