We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role reports directly to our Accounting Manager. You will assist with managing payroll and various accounting-related projects. If you are a numbers enthusiast with a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

What you can expect to work on

Payroll Processing: Accurately update employee details, hours worked, deductions, benefits, and any necessary adjustments for payroll.

Journal Entries: Prepare and post payroll journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Month-End Reconciliations: Analyze variances and reconcile accounts as part of month-end closing procedures.

Audit Support: Assist with financial and tax audits and handle any ad hoc projects.

Accounts Payable Management: Manage the full accounts payable cycle and resolve discrepancies.

Expense Claims Review: Review expense reimbursement claims to ensure compliance with company policies.

What we expect from you

  • 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll and income reporting requirements, accounts payables procedures and principles.
  • Understanding of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent organization and administration skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, thoroughness, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Familiar with NetSuite, MineralTree, Rippling and Brex.
  • Experience working for a software as a service (SaaS) company preferred.
