Tu Misión
Esta es una pasantía de 6 meses para estudiantes en Colombia. El objetivo principal de la pasantía es investigar nuevas tecnologías para simulación de robots y aplicarlas a los productos robóticos de Robot.com.

• Apoyar al equipo de robótica en la construcción de simulaciones para robots

• Crear o integrar modelos 3D existentes de escenarios en los que los robots puedan operar

• Construir entornos de simulación fotorrealistas de ciudades, suburbios, universidades y zonas industriales

• Construir modelos de simulación de robots móviles, manipuladores y humanoides

• Aprender muchísimo sobre simulación y deep learning junto a un equipo de ingenieros talentosos que ya trabajan en robótica en el mundo real
  
  

Tu Perfil

• Eres un estudiante universitario en tu último año

• Disfrutaste escribir código durante tus estudios y quieres seguir escribiendo más

• Eres una persona curiosa, motivada intrínsecamente y te encanta investigar a fondo un problema hasta encontrar soluciones.

• Tienes una mentalidad de constructor: capaz de avanzar de manera independiente con poca supervisión

Lo que te hará sobresalir

• Valoramos los proyectos extracurriculares y logros en tu trayectoria académica

• Te apasiona la robótica

• Tienes conocimientos básicos de ROS o ROS2

• Has participado en proyectos que involucren software de creación 3D como Blender, Gazebo o Nvidia Isaac durante tus estudios

Your Mission

This is a 6-month internship for students in Colombia. The main objective of the internship is to conduct research on new technologies for robot simulation and apply them to Robot.com’s robotic products.

• Support the robotics team in building simulations for robots

• Build or integrate existing 3D models of settings in which a robot may operate

• Build photorealistic simulation environments of cities, suburbs, universities, and industrial areas

• Build simulation models of mobile robots, manipulators, and humanoids

• Learn tons about simulation and deep learning alongside a team of talented engineers already working on real-life robotics

Your Profile

• You are a university student in your final year

• You enjoyed writing code during your studies and want to write more

• You are a curious, intrinsically motivated person who loves going down the rabbit hole on a project and coming up with creative solutions

• You have a builder attitude: able to accomplish a lot of work independently with minimal supervision

What will make you outstand

• We value extracurricular projects and achievements in your background

• You have a soft spot for robotics

• You have some basic knowledge of ROS or ROS2

• You have participated in projects involving 3D creation software such as Blender / Gazebo / Nvidia Isaac from your studies
