Position Overview:
Kiwibot is seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of HR / Director of Human Resources to lead our people strategy and build a dynamic and inclusive company culture that supports our rapid growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR leadership, including talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and culture building, particularly in a fast-paced, high-growth, publicly traded company environment. This role will report directly to the CEO and will work closely with the executive leadership team to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with Kiwibot’s mission, vision, and business objectives. Lead the HR function with a focus on organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, retention, and employee development.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Build and scale recruitment strategies to meet the evolving needs of a growing, publicly traded tech company.
Employee Engagement & Retention: Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and high performance. Develop initiatives to increase employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
Compensation & Benefits: Lead the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract top talent while aligning with company goals and values. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Leadership Development & Succession Planning: Develop and implement leadership development programs to identify and cultivate future leaders. Create succession plans to ensure business continuity and minimize talent gaps.
Organizational Development & Change Management: Support organizational development initiatives, driving effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during growth and change.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all HR policies, practices, and programs comply with federal, state, and local labor laws. Manage risk related to employment law, employee relations, and HR compliance.
Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Provide guidance and support for resolving employee relations issues and conflicts. Foster an open, transparent environment where employees feel valued and heard.
HR Technology & Analytics: Leverage HR technologies (HRIS, performance management systems, etc.) to streamline processes, improve data-driven decision-making, and enhance the employee experience.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Champion Kiwibot’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by promoting a culture of belonging and ensuring diversity is embedded in all HR processes and initiatives.
Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with the executive team to support company goals and build an organizational structure that is scalable and responsive to changing business needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR preferred).
At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, ideally in a publicly traded, high-growth technology company.
Extensive experience in all HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
Proven experience managing HR functions in a publicly traded company, with strong knowledge of SEC regulations, compensation practices, and compliance requirements.
Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategy with the company's business goals and culture.
Expertise in building and maintaining a positive company culture while managing organizational change.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop a high-performing HR team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly growing organization while maintaining a focus on both operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Experience with HR technologies and analytics tools (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the robotics, autonomous technology, or tech startup industries.
Proven experience in scaling HR functions during periods of rapid growth.
Experience driving DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives and promoting diverse hiring practices.
