Job Description

This is a remote position.

At Kiwibot we are building the largest robotic last-mile delivery network to support operations in several environments from college campuses to cities across the US, the Middle East & Asia. As a Corporate Development Associate, you will lead the charge in driving strategic initiatives within corporate finance, fundraising, and business intelligence. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your responsibilities will encompass the identification and thorough evaluation of growth opportunities, investments, and strategic partnerships. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the company's trajectory as you leverage performance and market insights to craft robust strategies that propel its growth and solidify its competitive position in the industry.

Requirements

As a Corporate Development Associate, a typical day might include the following:

  • Leading Fundraising Efforts:

    • Develop and refine financial models and deep analysis tailored to the needs and interests of potential investors.

    • Conduct market research to identify potential investors and stakeholders.

    • Prepare persuasive presentations and pitch materials highlighting the company's value proposition and growth potential.

    • Engage in meetings and negotiations with investors to secure funding for strategic initiatives.

    • Maintain relationships with existing investors and provide regular updates on company performance and milestones.

  • Conducting Business Intelligence Analysis:

    • Gather and analyze market data to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

    • Evaluate competitor strategies and market positioning through industry research and benchmarking.

    • Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies, such as data mining and predictive modeling, to extract actionable insights about the company performance.

    • Develop comprehensive financial and performance reports summarizing findings and recommendations.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into strategic initiatives and actionable plans.

  • Driving Corporate Development (CD) Activities:

    • Lead due diligence processes to assess the financial, operational, and compliance aspects of potential acquisition targets.

    • Evaluate target companies' financial performance, market position, and growth potential.

    • Prepare financial models and valuation analyses to determine the attractiveness of potential deals.

    • Negotiate deal terms and agreements with target companies and their representatives.

    • Collaborate with legal, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and successful completion of transactions.

    • Support all cap table-related activities and planning such as managing the Stock Ownership Plan, model dilution in future equity rounds, and modeling M&A deals.

  • Strengthening Investor Relations and Financial Analysis:

    • Cultivate relationships with investors and financial analysts to enhance transparency and communication regarding financial performance.

    • Provide timely and accurate financial data and analysis to investors, including earnings reports, financial statements, and key performance indicators.

    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact investor sentiment and decision-making.

    • Collaborate with the investor relations team to develop and execute communication strategies, including presentations and conference calls.

    • Utilize financial modeling techniques to forecast future performance and assess the potential impact of strategic initiatives on shareholder value.

  • Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships with investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.

You might also have
  • Proficiency in Mandarin

  • Possess hands-on experience leading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including due diligence, financial valuation, and negotiation of deal terms.

  • Have a proven track record of successfully raising capital through various fundraising channels, including venture capital, private equity, and strategic partnerships.
