Business Investment Advisor
In this role You will:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and modelling of potential investment opportunities, including financial forecasting, risk assessments, and scenario planning.
- Apply strong commercial competence to assess value drivers, market dynamics, and investment potential while developing compelling cases.
- Lead and support corporate finance activities, including capital allocation, funding structures, and evaluation of financial instruments.
- Apply advanced economic evaluation methodologies to assess project viability, incorporating metrics and risk-adjusted returns.
- Prepare high-quality financial reporting for investment proposals, performance tracking, and post-investment reviews.
- Deliver clear, persuasive presentations and recommendations to senior leadership, effectively influencing investment decisions.
- Conduct detailed investment appraisals using DCF, NPV, IRR, and other financial evaluation techniques.
- Perform in-depth market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging growth opportunities.
- Integrate a regional perspective into investment decisions, considering local market conditions, regulations, and geopolitical factors.
- Build and maintain strong partner engagement across internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
What You will need to be successful:
- Proven experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a multinational corporate environment.
- Advanced expertise in analysis and modelling, including strong financial modelling capabilities.
- Demonstrated commercial skill and understanding of value creation in complex business settings.
- Solid grounding in corporate finance, including financial instruments and capital markets.
- Proficiency in economic evaluation methodologies and their real-world application.
- Strong financial reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly developed influencing and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Extensive experience with investment appraisal and evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of market analysis methods and their use in strategic decision‑making.
- Ability to incorporate a regional perspective into financial and strategic assessments.
