Job Description:
Responsible for originating and developing new business across Indonesia for bp ST&S Aspac, maintaining strategic client relationships and generating a consistent pipeline of high‑quality opportunities.
1. Market Development & Origination
Originate crude and refined product opportunities across Indonesia by applying strong market insight, targeting high‑potential subsectors, and converting these into actionable deals, while maintaining a forward‑looking pipeline with clear revenue potential.
2. Key Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management
Develop and manage relationships across Indonesia’s oil value chain - including SOEs, refineries, trading houses, storage providers, importers, distributors, and relevant government or regulatory bodies — acting as the primary commercial point of contact to ensure consistent engagement, responsiveness, and trusted long‑term partnerships built on a deep understanding of each client’s strategy, constraints, and commercial objectives.
3. Transaction Structuring & Execution Support
Collaborate with internal functions, i.e. credit, legal, and risk teams to shape commercially viable and compliant transactions, work with clients to structure solutions aligned to crude and product flows, pricing mechanisms, and delivery terms, and support seamless execution by coordinating documentation, approvals, and closing milestones.
4. Market Intelligence & Internal Leadership
Provide regular market intelligence on market, regulations, supply‑demand shifts, and competitor activity; identify emerging risks and opportunities in the Indonesian oil market; contribute insights to internal strategy and regional planning; and uphold strong standards of conduct, governance, and risk awareness in all activities.
5. Compliance, Governance & Risk Culture
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and international standards by embedding strong KYC, sanction screening, and counterparty risk discipline into every transaction, while escalating issues early and working constructively with risk and compliance teams.
