Job Description:
- We are looking for a Filling technician role, and will support Castrol Tianjin operation. you will become an important part of normal plant operation for safety, quality, customer service and CI.
- In this position you will focus on daily filling production activities, supervising, leading and driving third party outsource workforce, to complte weekly and daily finished good delivery in ways of safe, reliable and efficient. Meanwhile, monitoring filling lines OEE, reliability and daily PSA, speak up CI opportunities and take part in relevant activities for improvement.
Key Accountabilities:
- As safety critical role, by monitoring 3rd party operators to operating fillings following plant safety rules, participating in energizing isolation, e.g. LOTO plan, and acting as CoW roles, to ensure plant daily operation in safe and compliance.
- As quality critical role, properly conducting filling instruction and Q-standards, to complete daily filling tasks on upholding quality with incident free.
- Monitoring upstream of blending and downstream FG out, working closely with scheduling &FG supervisor to ensure daily filling schedule is executed safely and timely, meanwhile far more improving OEE, PSA and customer service level.
- To train, coach and transfer filling knowledge to operators and ensure them have right competence, experience and skills for filling operating tasks in safe, quality-assured and efficient.
- Performing routine field inspections, observation and speak up of any EHS risks including 5S, CI opportunities to quality, cost saving and efficiencies.
- Regularly participating in ERP drills, and performing associated roles in real emergency response.
- Contributing front line operating experiences for safety, quality learnings, performing any mitigation &improvement actions from internal &external learnings.
- Last but not least, performing daily tasks for:
- to be responsible for filling consumables order placing and stock monitoring to ensure no consumables shortage which will cause filling operation breakdown.
- act as shift leader to lead and manage site filling teams, handle, report and investigate abnormal issues in time.
- other task are assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Education
- College degree or above, chemical preferred
Experience
- More than three years of plant experience in small package filling management.
- More than 3 years of plant experience in production of similar process.
- Other valued skills are computer familiarity and competency
- Good communicator and team worker with the ability and willingness to work closely with others
- Willingness to teach and share information with others
- Willingness to learn and show initiatives for self improvements
- Basic English reading/writing.Willingness to learn and show initiatives for self improvements
- Familiarity with OCME small package filling process would be advantageous
- Logical thinking, well organized with problem solving ability
- Be motivated as self starter
- Effectively priorities work and handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Works well under high pressure situations
