Join our Team and advance your career as a Supply Accounting Analyst (fix term for 2 years)
In this role You will:
- Support and prepare documents for period close.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Work with the HVC teams to ensure mutual understanding of all accounting entries and follow up on queries.
- Resolve queries and issues as they arise, using resources such as the Group Reporting Manual, and collaborating with European HVC teams or other BSC support.
- Provide effective support during system transformations throughout all project phases
- Reconcile reported physical airport stock with accounting system stock balances on a monthly basis.
- Prepare allocation reports and thoroughly investigate any differences identified during reconciliation.
- Verify all stock movements by ensuring that Opening Balance + In – Out = Closing Balance.
- Accurately record gains, losses, write-offs, accruals, and other required adjustments from the reconciliation.
- Carry out month-end close processes in a timely and accurate manner for businesses and processes of higher complexity, referring to the Group Reporting Manuals and working closely with Business/Country teams when needed.
- Support preparation of documents and adjustments for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Monitor open items and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Facilitate the integration of new scenarios into the SAP system.
- Support both internal and external audits.
- Handle and monitor queries.
- Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders and follow up on open issues.
- Work closely with assigned Business Units and Business Facing Financials.
- Run and verify month-end stock accounting processes, ensuring all movements are correctly priced, accounted for, and all adjustments are completed.
- Support the analysis of financial results related to product cost, storage, and handling activities.
What You will need to be successful:
- Relevant degree or 3 to 4 years of experience in a related supply accounting area
- Good knowledge of accounting
- SAP MM knowledge is desirable
- Fluency in English
