Role Description

The Head of Brokerage will lead and manage the company’s brokerage business.  In particular, we are looking for someone with deep experience in the energy supply industry, within a supplier or broker, to own the strategy, development, and operations of our brokerage platform, ultimately unlocking differentiated value for our users, partners, and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Own the commercial strategy, financial model, and operationalization of our residential brokerage platform
• Drive differentiated value for our end users, supply-side partners, and Arbor through creative, win-win-win business model innovation
• Source, structure, and manage relationships with energy suppliers and/or brokers
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Operations functions to build our brokerage user experience, systems, and processes
• Work with the Data and Finance functions to develop reporting and analytics on key performance indicators
• Drive regulatory and legal strategy, working closely with outside counsel

Requirements:

• 5+ years in strategy and operations within the energy supply/brokerage industry; P&L ownership preferred
• Strong management, recruiting, and leadership potential
• Passion for delivering results for the company, customers and partners
• Excellent strategic and analytical thinker; quantitative and data-driven
• Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with sophisticated partners, and to negotiate commercial terms to create mutually beneficial outcomes
